How to create a PDF invoice

A PDF invoice keeps your layout and branding consistent and is easy for clients to open and print. You can create a PDF from Word, Excel, Google Docs, or an online invoice tool.

Steps: (1) Create your invoice in your chosen tool (see how to create an invoice). (2) Include your details, client details, line items, totals, and payment terms (see invoice format). (3) Use “Save as PDF” or “Print to PDF” in your program, or use our invoice generator to build the invoice and download as PDF. (4) Send the PDF by email or your usual method (see how to send an invoice).
