How to create an invoice in Excel

You can create an invoice in Excel by using a template or building a simple table with your business details, client info, line items, and totals. Use formulas for subtotal, tax, and total so amounts update when you change quantities or rates.

Steps: (1) Open Excel and choose a blank workbook or an Excel invoice template. (2) Add your business name and address, client name and address, invoice number, and date. (3) Create a table with columns for description, quantity, unit price, and amount. (4) Add rows for subtotal, tax (if any), and total. (5) Save as PDF to send to your client, or keep as .xlsx for your records.
