How to CreateInvoices

Invoice example

Invoice examples show real-looking content so you can see how to describe services, set payment terms, and format line items. Use them as a reference when you write or create your own invoice.

What to copy

  • Structure – Header, bill-to, line items, totals, payment terms. See invoice format.
  • Clarity – Short descriptions, explicit quantities and rates, one total due.
  • Terms – When payment is due and how to pay.

Replace the example text with your and your client’s details and your actual line items. For a step-by-step guide, see how to create an invoice and sample invoice. You can use our invoice generator to build an invoice from a template and download a PDF.
