How to create an invoice in Google Docs
You can create an invoice in Google Docs by starting from a template or a blank document, adding your and your client’s details, a table for line items, and payment terms. Download as PDF to send.
Steps: (1) Go to Google Docs and create a new document, or use Template gallery and search for “invoice.” (2) Add your business name, address, and contact info. (3) Add the client’s name and billing address. (4) Insert a table (e.g., 4 columns: description, quantity, unit price, amount) and fill in your line items. (5) Add subtotal, tax if needed, and total. (6) Add payment terms and due date, then File → Download → PDF.
